The clojure HTTP ecosystem is easier to grasp.

Clojure script is really good, but add more layers of complexity.

Just a warning: once you feel the power of the parenthesis and data as code, there’s no way back.

Take a look in the channel “on the code again” in YouTube for some really nice videos

I'm very excited to announce the first release of Broadcstr! Check it here: https://www.broadcstr.com . Broadcstr is a web/desktop client for Nostr, it's missing a few features yet but I hope it will improve over time! It's also open source: https://github.com/fluizsp/broadcstr

Cool! I’ll be testing that one soon :)

I've been thinking about how easy would be to store a web application on Nostr.

Looks like is pretty simple, actually.

Created a (very, very rough) proof of concept if anyone is interested:

https://github.com/Marcelo-Theodoro/nnterra

I’m experimenting how to publish web apps on Nostr.

It’s doable. But a lot of work to be done yet. I’ll release a proof of concept soon.

I'm starting to think about my plan for the next 5 years. Really excited.

Some of the things that I thinking about:

- Work for myself, or at a really small, highly productive company

- One profitable side project

- Moving to a place with a colder weather

- Travel to Amazon Rainforest

- Travel to somewhere in Africa

- A dog or a cat (or both)

What about you? What do you want to do in the next 5 years?

I really like my work. But the truth is that I am having a lot of fun with my personal projects lately

Tomorrow is Monday :(

But… day off at work :)

Good morning ☀️

I’m grateful for the privilege of experience Nostr with you all

Just a thought: you should be responsible for the long term storage of your Nostr activity.

Relays, unless specified by contract, should be able to constantly prune old data.

Take a look in this lovely guy:

Something ~1990, the biggest problem for Brazil was something very fun, called hyperinflation.

Hyperinflation happens when your "money" is SO SHIT that your inflation grows at a ridiculously rate.

As an example, the accumulated inflation between 1986 untill 1989 in Brazil was 107.492,07%. In other words, the price of an item can go up 20x yearly.

Going back to the point: The guy from the photo is Fernando Collor de Mello, and he had a plan to deal the the hyperinflation!

After three months as president, he announced the plan "Brasil Novo" (Plan New Brazil).

Some of the actions of that plan were:

- Creation of a new currency: Cruzeiro Novo (Cr$)

- Price and salary freezes

- Prices increases in energy, postal services, etc

- Creation of new taxes

Ah, yes. Also one more little thing: HE DECIDED TO BLOCK ALL THE ASSETS ABOVE 50.000 NCz$ OF ALL THE POPULATION.

As a reference, 50.000 NCz$ was not enough to buy a car.

He was impeached some time later. But that disastrous left its mark.

------------

Currently, Fernando Collor de Mello is in the Senate.

I'm not a specialist in the matter. But seem's like a good story to share with you all!

You can read more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plano_Collor

"Terra nostra" is also the name of a soap opera from Brazil. (really good, actually)

Tip

When sharing your pubkey, try:

nostr://npub184jvqdrlyu34y28yd5p9a786jwnjrsrd9tr9nl24n52lzwmk4deqkkzed7

It'll be rendered as a link (in most cases) and can be opened directly on any app that supports it.

For Damus it works fine at least.

Added some more functions to https://github.com/Marcelo-Theodoro/clj-secp256k1

I believe the next step is something like `clj-bech32`, and finally put it all together in the `clj-nostr`.

With those simple (and basic, really) building blocks are essential for the long run.
