Tbh I think most people will not get the cash register sound.
Would be even cooler with more scenes from other types of people like politicians/activists talking about human rights, or even plebs talking about censorship.
I like this simple mental model for #nostr:
#npub is your #nostr public key
#nsec is your #nostr private key
#nsac is your #nostr private wallet
The last one, #nsac, the kernel of the idea is taken from NIP-60/60 by nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft , but can be generalized to hold more types of private information than just tokens.
The genesis of any #nsac is an #nsec - you can use your own, but not recommended- just generate an #nsac for which you, and only you know the corresponding #nsec
The cool thing is that an #nsac can be instantiated across multiple relays and take advantage of multiple providers such as mint and blossom servers.
I am already implementing a Python component called ‘safebox’ which is experimenting with the #nsac concept. It is solving some problems regarding custody - I will get into that in a later post.

Nostr is een beetje zoals 1998 toen het internet net opkwam. Vol met UX issues en vooral vooral techies die het gebruiken. Het heeft nog wat tijd nodig.
Maar ik zie steeds meer engagement en verbeteringen de laatste tijd.
Centraal beheerde platformen zijn een nogo geworden voor mij als bitcoiner. Ook al zijn die platformen fijner in gebruik, ik weiger nog langer het spel mee te spelen.
NOSTR is ook veel positiever, mensen zijn aardiger en behulpzamer. En het is veel meer dan social media alleen.
Wat tips:
Kijk naar accounts die veel volgers hebben en volg die allemaal. Gebruik meer hashtags bij je berichten. Kijk via nostr.band welke relays anderen gebruiken en voeg die toe, zodat de kans toeneemt dat je berichten ook getunneld worden via meer wegen en zichtbaar worden.
In het komende jaar zullen steeds meer mensen hier naartoe trekken en weer weggaan, maar ik zal blijven, want de fundamenten van NOSTR kloppen, het is een kwestie van tijd dat iedereen hier naartoe vlucht en niet OF net zoals bij Bitcoin, slowly then suddenly.
