Credentials don’t mean shit

Once in a while there might be some brilliance in the garbage that I write on a daily basis.

Filtering it out before I post it myself is a tricky one though, because it requires actual thought and self restrain before posting.

If you follow me, you get the brain damage for free.

Bitcoin still trading around round numbers or fib lines shows you how little traders have done their own research on the asset and how early we still are.

Psychological thresholds are human constructs based on arbitrary emotions about a specific number.

Fiat denominated irrelevance.

Let me get this straight. Is there a second best Nostr?

You’re welcome! My responses are below your questions.

Few questions:

1. What are the specific objectives/goals of the 'workforce'?

First, it’s not a workforce. It’s Nostr Force. 😉 The overall goal is to help enhance the Nostr ecosystem by providing resources, tools, guidance, and support for users and developers.

The members (I prefer to call them partners) will contribute to aspects of Nostr in areas where Nostr can be enhanced.

Nostr Force is similar to what I wrote about the Growth Team (Rabble’s idea) but with a few other people included such as designers and developers.

Rabble initially mentioned a Growth Team and I agreed. I wrote how I personally envisioned the Growth Team in a previous post. In part I stated,

[“I envision the components of the Nostr Growth Team being the following:

*Global Strategy

*User Acquisition and Retention

*User Experience and Engagement

*Networking and Connections

*Revenue and Sales

*Market Research & Competitive Analysis

*Opportunity Discovery

The members of the team have a growth mindset and big picture thinking. More importantly, they want to help grow Nostr.

For example, they might…

*Show the results from the latest user research

*Explain the latest trends and provide insights

*Show how your app compares to others and offer tweaks to make yours stand out

*Provide advice as to how your free app can be a paid app

*Discuss different giveaways and contests that attract new users

*Provide information about international markets

*Create tutorials for best practices regarding app design and user interface

*Discuss geopolitics to identify potential upcoming bans of other platforms and using the opportunity to onboard new users

*Offer suggestions for new apps (Like I did when I suggested the Nostr version of Teledoc)”]

There’s more information in that post but I won’t repost it all. I would also like for a designer and/or developer to contribute to Nostr Force by discussing the technical aspects of Nostr such as relays. How we can address any issues with relays if Nostr onboarded a million users overnight?

2. Do you have experience in coordinating projects and raising funds?

Yes, I have over two decades of professional work experience. During that time, I’ve coordinated projects and led teams. I’ve also helped raised funds (mainly grants) for certain projects in which I was a member. It was a team effort. So, I’m not going to take all the credit for being awarded grants.

3. Why do you think opensats would grant the project SATs? I understand they do this on an individual basis only?

I mentioned OpenSats because they contribute to the Nostr ecosystem. I’m not even sure if they’re interested. Hence, the reason why I am writing a *proposal*. It’s an idea. They can say “no”. But someone has to try and pitch the idea. I don’t mind submitting a proposal to other organizations. Someone can make a suggestion.

I have no idea if this initiative will get funded. But I’m willing to try. I like to shoot my shot. And bet on a great idea. I have nothing to lose and Nostr has everything to gain.

I’m more than happy to talk on a call. I’m in Dubai so we’ll need to coordinate a time for the both of us.

Sounds good! Let's explore some more.

Maybe you can organise a Hivetalk FAQ for people interested?
