I live in Florida but have spent the last 10 days in upstate New York. I love it here, but this state has permanently damaged so many people. I have not seen this many people wearing masks since July 2020. It’s almost May 2023. Holy crap.

I am unbelievably proud right now. My 6 year old son just explained to his mom how Lightning channels work. We had a basic discussion about what is lightning bitcoin vs onchain bitcoin... this was the first time I ever mentioned lightning to him.

10 minutes later, I asked him, if I make a connection with you and we each put in 10 sats... i don't have a connection with mom but I want to send sats to mom... how can I?

He says to me, if I connect to mommy you can send me 10 sats, then I send 10 sats to mommy!

Kids get it and have the capacity to learn so much! It's incredible. We adults have a preconceived notion of how money should work. It's so hard to unwind that and learn a new system. Kids are blank slates and can absorb so much more then we give them credit for.

The future is bright! Feeling max bullish right now.
