I was just showing you that there was a nice show more button on my client

there's a lot less standardization around user experience

All of the standardization seems to be around the protocol

which is really important but there probably needs to be a standards track for the user experience in clients

Adding two more Nostr bounties.

## 1st is a long form (kind23) bounty.

A Ghost-blog like self-hosted replacement on Nostr.

This would help companies move their corporate blogs to Nostr and still serve on the web.

## 2nd is a podcast RSS feed mirror/replacement

The main goal is to replace RSS for podcasts, and eventually have podcasts players that understand it. So that users would just follow some pubkey and the authors podcast feed magically appears on the podcast client feed.

literally haven't thought about Twitter today

just woke up and started ostriching

definitely there could be a request filter for note size and a response that tells you the note IDs and the authors but not the contents

then a separate request for contents from authors that you trust or whatever your client decides that it wants to get

just getting a list of note IDs that you might be interested in but maybe contain spam or giant images would be a pretty cool response

could even be the same messages just with the content truncated or missing and a flag to let you know that it was truncated or missing

Something like:

"hey that wasn't an email address but it's still cool, you can click this link and DM whoever it is you're trying to get in touch with"

also maybe we should come up with a better way of writing it so that it doesn't look like an email?

simul#iris.to

simul%iris.to

whatever

@fiatjaf might have a NIP for this already

#[0] it would be kewl if u added an email gate for iris.to that autoreplied with an iris url. that way I can link my iris address anywhere and people who email it will still be able to find me

I was paid for generating artificial intelligence images of ostriches holding glasses of wine

also the first time I've ever been paid for any sort of social media content at all

completely unreal experience how this is better than almost everything that's been produced over the last 10 years

and it took like six months and a handful of open source developers to do it

What if it was the opening salvo, and we've been fighting at this whole time

The secret bio warfare that rage is across the globe right now

Genetically targeted viruses

Vaccination programs for weapons that we have not yet released

Etc.

It's crazy in order to get mainstream Bitcoin adoption we had to invent our own social media app

Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and all those guys wouldn't do it for us

But it took like 15 minutes for all the app and web developers to throw lightning support into the social experience

strangely, i feel like nostr/zap will wind up being the thing that wins

It's so much easier to purple pill people than it is to orange peel people

just tell them this is where they'll find you and your friends are going to want to be here

start publishing your magazine here first

blah blah blah

wow I got my first actual spam reply from a real bot that linked me to a telegram room super cool!

I've been trying really hard to get mid journey like results out of stable diffusion and other open source

you can do it but it takes work

I'll tag you when I hook it up to nostr
