Okay so I am working out how to zap. Not built in on Damus. Looks like isn't within Apple store rules.
So there is a work around. You can add the zap lightening icon by going to https://www.zechendorf.com/2024/01/05/enabling-zaps-in-damus.html on your iphone and click on enable zaps.
Can only zap one amount though (1000 satoshis).

Also looking at web solutions. On the laptop and Rabbit looks good. Gives a sort of tweetdeck multiple column interface which is pretty cool. Early days though. I am tending to use nostter.app though. Pretty cool too.

Nah. People overestimate the competency of government organisations, and that can seed wild conspiracy theories. Coordination between governments is most advantageous when it comes to financial markets and trade, and even then each nation is out for their own national interests. Maybe in some countries where people are actually oppressed and use Twitter to organise. Otherwise probs not.
Twitter is a cess pool. Heaps of misinformation. But most of the people I am interested in are on there. So needs to be mass migration before I will leave. Meh about Brazil. From what I can see many people on Twitter donāt like Musk and support the ban. But who knows.
There would need to be something that happens that cause people to leave Twitter.
