I currently live in Korea which has 60% the land area and 10x the population of NZ and yet it is still a beautiful country with amazing amounts of forest and green space.
Whenever I travel and I tell people I am from NZ, almost without fail they will say “such a beautiful country, you must be proud”. I try to express to them that this is a function of how few people there are rather than some cultural phenomenon.

Everyone should be afraid of a capital gains tax because it is nothing but theft. Every example of why it is necessary is logically unsound and simply a smoke screen for communists to steal from anyone with anything. There is no such thing as “Capital Gains”.
A better name for it would be an EPR “exercising property rights” tax. When ever you choose to move your savings or capital from one endeavour to another you will have to pay the communists for the privilege.
