PoW in npud creation would be wayyyyyy more decentralized. I'm talking literally like 15-30 seconds of mobile CPU work. Even a short amount of time like that would protect against the flood we're seeing in #introductions
Not sure how that contradicts my point đ¤ˇââď¸
If Cashapp (one of the most used payments apps by non-bitcoiners) enabled NWC to and from a dollar denominated balance, why wouldn't non-bitcoiners use it?
You said "Pumps are bad.". Only arguing against that. Pumps are required.
This 100%
This is how monetization happens. NGU is literally required. None of "the good stuff" is defendable in the long term without monetization.
Oh, that was what I was suggesting. Rather than allowing CC integration directly with a client, would be simpler to enable NWC with a lightning provider that allows dollar stable/denominated accounts
Does Alby allow you to zap to/from a dollar stable and denominated account?
Always entertaining when something called "DeFi" blocks someone. CEO of DeFi is such a jerk
Not sure if you've seen #introductions this morning... nobody can keep up with blocking them all. Several a second are being created
Could reuse vanity npubs as a way to bake PoW into nostr identity creation which would solve this bot spam.
i.e. only show people I follow and npubs that start with "npud21" or something like that (no clue what the correct number of characters would be). Could be a simple way to clean up global đ¤ˇââď¸

#PoW
Eh I think adding NWC support to a service like #Strike that would allowing zapping to and from a dollar denominated balance would be a lot less work
Don't forget you can block entire sentences on #amethyst đ¤
#introductions

GM and PV ââď¸
#introductions was just flooded by hundreds of bots
I saw it at 7:16, must be broken đ
If we logg/ with our keys does it pull or relay list?
This opening was incredible đ
Rest of the interview is great also. Well done nostr:npub1preu2djgj2ua47l277myu8ak30v95m6ar59n6k23tyu3ylkv53sskpeujk
FinCENâs proposal to outlaw all crypto privacy is a huge overreach. They apply a section of the Patriot Act on a âclass of transactionsâ in a new precedent. Doesnât matter if itâs custodial or noncustodial- merely using certain type of code can be an illegal act.
People are caught by the potential spot ETF, meanwhile this is proposed. Now they fight you.

Pretty sure these rules would make The Lightning Network illegal...

Yea, I wouldn't. But you're right, don't have to buy ETH either.
