i am of a weird hybrid world where my desktop is linux, my phone is tim apple, and then i have a macbook for travel/on the go too (but long for a RISC-V Framework laptop with more oomph than the Deep Computing mainboard).

If I recall correctly, they do plan to bring it to other OSs. But it was just easier to start on iOS since it was intended to be WebKit based anyway.

The cool thing about Orion is it supports chrome extensions on iOS. Pretty nifty.
