We typically only get to the high 90s here. I would ask myself that but I already know the answer. I’m a Carolinian. My family’s been in this county since 1744. I should be around for the tricentennial. Hopefully. I’d like to still be in the county.

The older I get the more I find myself listening to the music my dad would play when I was a kid. Not the stuff I always liked but the stuff I didn’t really like listening to as much as he did. Patsy Cline. Marty Robbins. Waylon Jennings. Kris Kristofferson.

I don’t drink at all. Last time I had drink was a glass of wine 15 years ago with on my 21st birthday when I was legal just to say I did.

I’m not saying that I got half a dozen of them because coworkers would ask if they could buy a gun and damn look at the price for an AR, 7 loaded magazines, a cleaning kit with bottle of CLP and a bandolier for the 6 extra magazines cost. I’m looking at 1100 for a trip to Texas in October. Airbnb for a week and driving a rental car there and back. 12 times that? We got mountains and beaches two hour away in my part of South Carolina. What more does one need in life.

One of the dorms I stayed in during college had a good brunch in the basement on Sunday’s. Excellent fried chicken.
