Got stopped by a cop about 15 years ago. It was the holiday’s and there had been a rash of break ins in the parking lot I was walking through. To set the stage, the cop watched me walk out of Target wearing red and kaki almost like I worked at the Target or something. I was walking through the parking lot to get to the hamburger joint across the way for a cheeseburger, fries and chocolate shake at lunch. Ended up being nothing more serious than not getting to eat lunch because I spent the next 20 minutes talking to this cop because I was “suspicious”.
Past couple days someone’s rooster has been wandering around the driveway. At what point does possession become 9/10s of the law? Asking for a friend.
Listening to the Highwaymen at the airport getting ready to fly home from vacation. It was a good one.
Had frogs legs for the first time today. Delicious. Told my mom, all she had to say was oh yeah frog is great we used to go gigging in the pond all the time before you kids came along. 😔

My parents are just getting around to replacing the roof on their house. Original roof from 100 years ago. My grandmother and her brother were born under that roof. Sheet metal roof, rest of the house is mostly pine. Had four fireplaces originally. Only one still there.
