Some of them probably know deep down inside that the answer to that question is a lot of things and they aren’t ready for that.

Like I said for over a year now, giving them more money and weapons won't help because they don't have enough people left to fight the war. All we do at this point by funding this war is get more Ukrainians killed and permanently disabled.

It’s easy to keep a war going beyond what it should when you get to compel participation whether financially or physically, whether you are the government over the people living there or an interested third party government.
I usually do but after the 3rd 4th spot I usually just say to hell with it.

You run into the strangest people hitchhiking. There I was on the other side of town. Coming out of the eye doctor with dilated eyes and a Subaru pulls up to see if I want a ride. It was my sister and aunt so I said yes. Bought her lunch and got a ride home instead of taking an uber. I guess everyone come out ahead. Even if my nephew was not happy when some guy got in the back with him in a parking lot.
