I was just released on bail for assaulting my neighbor. now, before you get all judgy, hear me out. so, our one neighbor makes these amazing chocolate chip cookies, buttery, palm-sized so you can stack a handful and loaded with chocolate chips. the cookie to chip ratio is dialed in. these are near perfection. anyway...

I m talking to another neighbor and the cookies come up. this neighbor starts to explain how they asked the other neighbor to NOT put so many chips in...

well, I woke up in jail.

apparently I was choking this neighbor and the other neighbors couldn't get me off her. the cops showed up and he put me into a sleeper hold... and here we are...

I was just chopping & dropping in my banana patch. then, bang! mutha F'er got my middle toe /left foot. I wonder what I looked like dancing around swearing up a storm. I took a banana leaf and pounded it into the ground. I was surprised how big it was. this wasn't some little yellow jacket or paperwasp. F'er was almost 4 inches. I guess I'm glad it didn't bite my toe off. lol

good ole dr. christophers tissue & bone ointment & some ice have kept the swelling down & the real pain only lasted about an hour. couple 3 hours now, & there's no swelling & no pain.

I am reconsidering the "barefoot all the time" thing now though. lol

barefoot is great. I love being barefoot. not sure if there's anything to that grounding stuff.

but, i shall say, it's electrifying to step on a big orange wasp.

I guess my childhood is over. I didn't see a big pile of leaves to jump in, I see mulch & fungal dominant compost. lol
