It’s been hitting mid to upper 90’s and the Merlot lettuce is still going strong. I have no idea how, all the other lettuces burned up and are all gone by now. Hardy little lettuce, recommend.

Things are starting to pick up speed! A good bit of flowering and fruiting. White powder is diatomaceous earth. Obviously the grass is growing in all over my un-mulched rows. Next year it'll be a short raised beds I will tarp and make grass control easier. Since this is my first in-ground proper garden of my life, I was more worried about just getting stuff in. Learning about pests too. Something ate almost all my sweet potato leaves! Wonder what it was .. I'm thinking rabbits.
