Damn! That is cool
Sometimes tenderloins can have some significant amounts of blood in or on them. If so, brine in salt water to remove blood. They will absorb the salt brine and can be open air cooked eg bbq/grill. Cut across grain into 1 inch slices or smaller. Season how you see fit. I personally find the tenderloins to more gamey than the rest of the deer...
Now that youre back nostr can continue... ;)
nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 you're on one of my favorite permaculture podcasts!
So cool to hear two of my favorite folks having a great conversation.
For #permie and #homestead folks who don't know him: Takota Coen is an excellent resource. He's got some beautiful systems going on his farm in Canada (like growing duckweed on his pond, which he soaks in milk/whey from his cow along with grains that he grows, all of which he feeds to his pigs before he sends them out to forage cattails in the wetlands that he's rehabilitating. It's quite something. That particular YT video linked below, and he's got plenty more).
And his latest podcast is interviewing Ben Perrin π€© I'm partway through, and Ben is doing a great job of introducing bitcoin to Takota's audience (mostly not bitcoiners, would be my guess, and it's a group that will probably be pretty receptive).
I listen on Fountain but could only get an apple podcast link:
YT video on how Coen feeds his pigs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CloGPgGE9WQ).
Takota is one of the best
Its hard. One day the time will come to put your dog down. And today is the day. Nothing can really prepare you for it even though you know its happening. Mack was a wonderful dog for 12 years. RIP #dogstr

Yellow bellied sapsucker. Did it hit a window and get stunned? #birdstr #dogstr
I gotta get back to doing that. Ill make some good progress and i get busy on other projects... this fall maybe. Too damn busy with gardens
Hope you figure it out!
