I talk about this every growing season. Its amazing agricultural exists given how few replicates each generation of farmers gets to grow out. It gets even crazier when you think breeding plants and directional selection. I guess the successes only come from countless failures.

I went up to about 84 deg latitude one summer. Incredible but so barren and desolate I don't want to ever go back.
