One question i was thinking about was how are women educated about childbirth etc. I am assuming most have homebirths? How do they feel about medical intervention s in childbirth? Is infant mortality rates similar to the general population?

Gm nostr! I had some left over spinach from the market this week. Blanched it and packed away for the freezer. Surprisingly, they keep really well in butcher paper. Keeping stacking!
A little hard to see. Its a diy zig zag seed cleaner. I use it for cleaning all kinds of seed. Simple winnowing in steady breeze works too. If your stack is bigger than yesterday, everyday is an all time high.
While slicing up rhubarb, i was thinking how tired i was when i sliced the tip of thumb. That sucker bled. Luckily i had a flap attached so cleaned it and pressed it back into place. A few hours later it was looking okay so i grabbed a stalk of comfrey and squeezed juice out of it and applied to the cut. Sounds silly but i can feel it healing.

Gm nostr. My daughter and i have been frequent visitors at my friend's farm where they have 3 Belgian draft horses. Ive been around horses, mostly quarter horses, my whole life and i am blown away by the docile temperament of these gentle giants.

Gm nostriches. Wow, the bird song was crazy good this morning. My #birdstr yard list is growing. 88 species since Jan 1st. In the garden today, i need to empty the compost bins and build new ones. Things are slowly coming along in the greenhouse nursery. Lets keep building. Never stop.
