5AM BERRY PICKING LETS GOOOOO!!!

Yesterday the dog got me up at 1:30 to use the bathroom, and because my brain is such a nice guy that was it for sleep for me. So at 5 I got the dog up (he wasn’t very happy about it, too bad for him!) and we went up the hill for sunrise to beat the heat.

The trees are so thick with berries that the branches are leaning over. You can grab clusters of them that fill your hand.

We didn’t pick a huge amount as we needed to be back in time to make pre-work coffee for Tassie. Pippin signalled it was time to go with his widened bulldog stance and a stare, and back down the hill we went. Didn’t stop me from grabbing drive-by handfuls for breakfast as we walked past more bushes…

Inspiration hit after a nap and the Sawmill Creek Cottages Cookbook came out for a muffin recipe. I could have gone heavier on the butter (isn’t that always?) and the papers weren’t cooperative (I’m going to try some expensive ones next time for comparison) but the fresh saskatoons still pulled their weight.

10/10 will try to get up the hill at least once more this season.

in Bitcoin - trust gets restructured and distributed. You trust a distributed system of economic incentives, cryptographic proofs, and network consensus rules.

You are trusting the *system* - you're trusting that the majority of miners won't collude, that the cryptographic assumptions hold, that the network effects will continue. This all results in

- No single point of failure

- Adversaries need to compromise many independent actors

- Everything is transparent and verifiable by anyone

- Economic incentives align individual self-interest with network security

Trust in bitcoin is real- it's just spread across cryptography, economics, and thousands of independent participants rather than concentrated in a single entity.

Thats what they say but its really just decentralized trust

If bitcoin is the money, then your reputation and trust is the currency.

If you ever want to feel alive, just mow the lawn beside the cedar hedge where the yellow jackets have a very active nest.

Gm nostr. Getting ready for market. I love the testpilot tunes to make work flow and let my mind wander. Try it out! https://youtu.be/FmBvi05vW8Y

Yep. Only if you want a few pumpkins. Diluted urine will do the trick!

Gm nostr. In a wasteland of concrete and debris, the common pigeon builds a nest of bent nails and screws. Dont let anyone tell you are NOT unstoppable. Never stop!

Be a good sport, and just define "sport" so we are clear ffs. Lol
