The ends, however well intentioned or noble, don't always justify the means - usually when a cascading set of unforeseen consequences, invariably deemed too trivial to draw attention to, gradually coalesce into a situation that requires a measured response which leads to an incident that promptly gets out of hand due to incompetence and ev ... oh fuck it, kill everyone! Photographer based in Ireland. Had a novel published in my 30s, which was nicely reviewed but didn't pay the bills so I switched to shooting people for a living.

Now I'm older, obviously not much wiser, I've decided to get back into writing with a #WIP that has been scratching around in my skull for half a lifetime.

I don't get to write much between April & October.

That said, I have 160k done on the 1st draft. I under write. So, there's that.

[KZ] is not your typical antagonist, so I really don't want to say too much about who or what they are - people can be so very judgemental.

Setting aside judgey physiological attributes, [KZ] has watched over the evolution of #WIP world for thousands of years. Worshipped by some, they are dying as their influence wanes. Disillusioned, [KZ] attempts to make the world better and create a lasting legacy.

Things do not go smoothly.

SC Side Character Imagery.

This is a main character T, with her idiot sons H and W. They really should know better at this stage, but they're relentlessly incapable of learning from their fuck-ups. I like them because any time I want to do something stupid to a character these are my go to guys, and for some reason I seem to be capable of imagining a lot of stupid. If it's bad to laugh when some of your characters suffer then i am a very bad person.
