"Understand" by Ted Chiang is one of my favorite sci-fi-adjacent short stories. It's about an experimental drug causing uncontrolled exponential growth of human intelligence, told in the first person. One of the most mindblowing works of fiction I've ever read. I used to have Breez Mobile and a Bitcoli account, which gave me a non-custodial wallet for sending and a custodial wallet for receiving. Having to periodically transfer sats from Bitcoli to Breez was a hassle, though.
