Damus has a bug that causes some GIFs not to animate. If you view your note on another client it will move.
I liked it but I liked the graphic novel a little more, because it’s less concerned with making readers take V’s side.

There are a lot of Americans, but choosing different relays will change the mix of what you see.
I don’t know why NIP-36 isn’t a higher priority for client developers. (Amethyst supports it. So does Plebstr, in half measure.) If it were widely adopted, users who don’t want to see nudity could mostly filter it out, and reporting and banning would diminish.

Yeah, I was just making that point. While I do think the median Nostr user is less censorious than, for example, the median Twitter user, there are still plenty who want to report nudity.

I don’t want to oversell Nostr’s resistance to censorship. Users can report sex workers to relays, and any relay operator can choose to filter them out. The censorship resistance comes from the multitude of relays plus the fact that anyone can run one.
