I’m sorry I offended your lover, I hope he thanks you for defense and whispers sweet nothings into your ear.
I have no problem with who nostr:nprofile1qqsqfjg4mth7uwp307nng3z2em3ep2pxnljczzezg8j7dhf58ha7ejgprpmhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qyvhwumn8ghj7um9dejxjapwdehhxenvv9ex2tnrdaksepv2a6 invites on his podcast, I just don’t like Seth.
lol okay cake’s been around since what 2018? Development on Cove started 2024, and it’s just me.
Payjoin is coming, but you kinda need a functioning wallet first, sorry if i’m not working fast enough for you.
Where’s your proof of work?
lol Seth is full of shit
I wouldn’t go that far, Bitcoiners that care about privacy are more focused on lightning.
Payjoin and Silent payments in more bitcoin wallets would be good tho.
Does make Monero people any less retarded.
...and this is the developer of an iOS Bitcoin wallet called Cove. I see why nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsq3vamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qqsqfjg4mth7uwp307nng3z2em3ep2pxnljczzezg8j7dhf58ha7ejgqgzx3h uses it.
Ya we are slacking, cake wallet is better at the privacy front right now, too bad about the shitcoins
Hahahahah true but our cloud yelling friend is right, Seth is a faggot ass Monero maxi and Cake is a shitcoin wallet.
But to fair, it’s Bitcoiner’s fault that we let shitcoiners beat us to making a wallet that supports good privacy with payjoin and silent payments.
Too many devs in bitcoin came to it from purely a technical side, and it shows.
Have some humility and realize that bitcoin isn’t just software. It’s not another open source project.
You don’t understand it better because you understand the technical details.
Hot wallets for small spending wallets is fine, but Cove has very good hardware wallet support as well.
Made a demo of the coin control flow in Cove https://blossom.primal.net/31595647523ed7a58d22e5e92a8a494cd16ca1a15f4bc3128226c2a4cabf9b5d.mp4
Cove Beta v0.5.0 is out, this is the coin control release.
You can see all your UTXOs search them by label, amount, address or transaction id. You can also sort by amount, date or change.
You can pick and choose the UTXOs you want to send, and customize the amount as well.
I haven’t used Swift Playgrounds too much so i’m not sure what you mean.
I do plan on supporting iPad in the future tho.
nostr:npub1g0epzm4egfx6mda7pug9r4fwqpqzky6524zjev39tnjrp66g70eqdtz7dp Do you see a feasible way to convert Cove into a Swift package?
Can Swift packages call external, different language libraries like BDK?
How easily could the Cove architecture switch to using a different Bitcoin library in place of BDK? Or would that equate a complete rewrite?
Hey what is your end goal?
Most of the logic for Cove is written in rust, using BDK directly for the wallet functions. Just the UI is written in swift.
Wouldn't ckbunker be a really good for joinmarket makers?
The big feature for v0.5.0 will be coin control, here’s a sneak peak of what that will look like.

Currently working on features for v0.5.0 which will be released in 2 weeks, it will have coincontrol and some redesigned screens.

Released v0.4.0, to beta testers, lot of internal changes, but some good new user facing features as well, including:
- Support for Testnet4
- Support for hardware wallets like @selfcustodykrux that uses KeyExpressions for xpub export
- Export your transactions to a CSV with historical fiat prices
- Fixed some small visual bugs in the send flow
When a wallet is first imported we do a more comprehensive scan than other wallets, 150 addresses in case the user had messed up a gap limit send before.
But we do it in stages so for most people their txns will be loaded quickly.
Maybe I should get rid of the loading icon for the extended scan.
