Released Cove Beta v0.3.0 with support for full support TAPSIGNER.
With the TAPSIGNER you can:
- Init & Import TAPSIGNER
- Sign transactions
- Change PIN
- Download TAPSIGNER backup
nostr:npub1g0epzm4egfx6mda7pug9r4fwqpqzky6524zjev39tnjrp66g70eqdtz7dp tapsigner nfc scans faster than nunchuk
not sure if you plan to add this but a dedicated “home page” displaying all my wallets would be better ux than automatically kicking me into one of my wallets
also the loading icon stutters when reloading transactions
will play with send/recieve on the weekend
Cove defaults to going to the last used wallet, this might be user preference but I think for most people going to the last used wallet makes sense. But if more people give me this feedback I can make it an option to always go to a home page.
Thanks, will fix the loading animation glitch.
Ya we should all move to Solana, I heard I can buy some awesome wizard stuff on there.
We support single sig wallets, how are you trying to import? Are you getting any errors?
Need a hot wallet, and already using a hardware wallet?
Consider BIP85.
With BIP85, you don't need to backup an entirely new set of words, you just need to remember one number (the index).

Already using your hardware wallet with Sparrow?
You can import directly from Sparrow, you can even import all your labels all with QR codes.
Cool thanks so,
- TapSigner support is coming next, coin control will be after that.
- Cove already only gives unused addresses but an address list will be added later.
- A custom fee slider is already there, I added a screenshot.
Let me know if you have any other requests.

Yup that’s the goal, what features are you missing the most?
Nope, lightning and multisig are explicitly not on the roadmap.
Cove aims to be a simple bitcoin wallet, and because of that I won’t add multisig or layer 2.
I need to get my hands on a Bitkey to test with them. I’m not sure how they work with wallets.
I thought they were tightly coupled with their own app.
You import the public key so you can see the transactions and addresses, and create transactions. You still need the hardware wallet to sign transactions.
Same as you would use it with Sparrow on desktop.
I’m opening to changing wording if this is confusing.
Increased to 50 testing slots, please send feedback to feedback@covebitcoinwallet.com
Yup: https://github.com/bitcoinppl/cove
Need to improve the README
Yup i’m using sparrow on desktop, you can even import the labels from sparrow by scanning a QR code.
No lighting, trying to keep things very simple with this wallet. Main chain only.
iOS Beta for Cove is ready on TestFlight.
Starting with just 25 open slots, but will increase weekly.
