this morning someone assassinated the CEO of United Healthcare and rode away on a bicycle.
i've long wondered what the longer term outcome of this kind of left wing political violence would be. if another killing like this happens, do CEOs retreat (further) into private security with large squads of bodyguards around them at all times? does any political change result, as happened after Shinzo Abe's assassination? how effectively can the mainstream media bury it?
