As far as my understanding goes no. They would have to recreate so many environmental variables that the picture was taken in. It would be very hard to get it exactly.

It's essentially exactly what you just said above. You can nitpick a piece (music, art, whatever) to death and it'll never actually be "perfect". At some point you have to "settle for mediocrity" from your perspective and move on.

I'm actually not sure about parts, but I would imagine you would probably have better luck in Idaho than you would in California.
Speaking on bears though bear spray is a fine enough deterrent. As long as you hang your food properly, you should be fine. I've never really had any issues in those areas when hiking.
