Youtube I could embed as video. The problem is more with links to random servers that could track users IP addresses and user agents.

iris.to

Iris loads images via proxy to resize and avoid IP leaking. But I don't have the resources to do this with videos.

What are other clients doing? Just embed remote video urls? Click to load?

You can, but it’s always safer to use alby or nos2x browser extension instead of pasting the private key into a website.
