Bitcoin has spent about 35% of the time above the power law trend line, and 65% of the time below it. It has also been at or below the trend line for the last 3 years. Curious. 🧐

Silver is definitely leading - but it's not moving completely by itself... I charted out the relative prices of other metals since Jan 2024 to show that gold, platinum, and even copper and aluminum are all moving - what can we learn from the similarities and differences ?

Getting rich would be awesome— but mostly, I just don’t want to be poor.

If I ever get wealthy -- the thing I want the most is an excellent full-time lawyer on retainer -- so I can have them handle all of the absolute BS that I deal with on a regular basis. Companies that don't DO what they SAY they're going to do - and all the bogus scams from companies that pray on people who can't afford lawyers.... Jeezus F**k.

It seems like the tokenization of real estate will save the real estate sector from the de-monetizing force that bitcoin is imposing

Strategy buying

ETFs buying

Sovereign Wealth Funds buying

Harvard endowment buying

….on and on….

And the price is FLAT on the year???

Something doesn’t add up here, folks. WTF is going on??

Buys that reduce your cost basis just feel good… and that applies to btc and btcs! ā˜€ļøšŸ‘šŸ¼

The irony is that when you are the most underwater, is also the best time to be buying

For the uninformed, Can you please explain this a bit further… what does this premium refer to?

My DCA buys me more sats per USD this month than it did last month. And I’m supposed to be upset about that?

There might be hope for California…

Volatility = Vitality, right? šŸ˜›

I thought normies would jump at a 10% yield— (STRC) -but even with the volatility taken out of the equation, they’re still skeptical because of the connection with bitcoin šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ™ˆ

Humble Sat Stackers, come and get a handful.

I’m singing the ā€œNo cash to buy the dipā€ blues…. :-(

A Bitcoin ETF is centralized bitcoin- in other words, it’s not bitcoin.

As if buying paper bitcoin through the Ibit Etf wasn’t fake enough for you— the ratio of Ibit shares to BTC is currently at 1/0.00061– but this ratio isn’t fixed. Which means you basically have no idea how much bitcoin 1 share of Ibit represents now… much less in the future. Good God.

This looks like it might be an apt metaphor for Bitcoin: finite volume (fixed supply)- and infinite surface area (infinite value)… šŸ¤”šŸ¤Æ

I’m listening to old episodes of Oliver Velez’s Bitcoin unleashed— and it’s breaking my brain right now. Bitcoin was the innovation.

All this talk from Blackrock and the IMF about blockchain technology and tokenizing real world assets is just more fiat nonsense- extending and expanding the tyranny of control and enslavement.

Tom Lee is so disappointing right now.

I think this discussion is worthy of a longer article so I will add more thoughts into this thread… but also may expand it to a reddit post or Medium article.

This version which is the most commonly seen and used equation to explain bitcoin’s issuance schedule is A) not in the white paper.

B) not how it is actually exactly implemented in code.

When I started to dig into it to better understand it myself, I came across these two realizations, and was surprised by them.

Bitcoin and Energy …

Another great Jeff Booth conversation:

I have a Xerox Laser printer. It weighs a ton but works quite decently for years now…. Only replaced the ink carridges once or twice so far.

Much much better than ink jet.

This bull market feels eerily steady and not so extreme to the upside… which leads us to conspiracy theories about paper bitcoin, etc… but perhaps this is just Bitcoin’s benevolence….

Wow.

I just sent a Lightning payment to a vendor who is using Zapright for payment processing. The whole process took about 5 seconds. FLIPPING FANTASTIC!!!

Much respect 🤩 to the Zapright team.
