Go for it. Outdated laws and regulations are a pain in the ass. NIPs are no different. Get rid of everything that doesn't work. They are guidance, not specs after all.
For the number of billionaires in the world, there is surprisingly very little investment in Aging research. If I was rich, I would put all my wealth into research to make us live longer. It's almost as if humans accepted defeat.
Even the US's National Institute on Aging only appropriates ~400m USD/yr to Aging Biology. That's nothing.

Notifications are working on the PlayEdition. Check if they are not disabled in the Android Settings/Apps/Amethyst/
