I don't think they save them as lists, but it could be interesting.

Some relays still have your old profile.

If you were using a given relay set in the past, changed your profile there (so all of them got updated) then removed a few relays from the list and updated your profile again, the relays you removed did not receive the update.

So, if apps are using those relays, they get your old version.

Not that I know of. No bounties as well.

It doesn't look like people have any interest in this.

I love Amethyst and would pitch in some money if you are raising money to take it to the next level! Maybe it is the relays or something unrelated but it seems like something which should be fixed! #grownostr #amethyst

We don't have server. The main issue is that now the app uses up to 1GB to keep all the content the app needs. Most old phones will definitely struggle with that level of memory use.

Probably because your are following a hashtag or a community. Those show up in your feed as well. If so, there is an identifier of the community or hashtag in the first row, together with your name

Are you using the latest (10.7)? It's about memory. The app is using up to 1Gb of ram these days.

# From Global Relay Network to Global Nostr Nodes

![Relayable Network]()

I have just finished deploying a new bare metal server in Sydney, Australia to complete the Version 2 of the Relayable Relay Network. With lessons learned from Version 1 that has been up for the last 6+ months. When I first started this project it was to improve the architecture and design of relays to be more highly available (HA) and redundant in terms of data storage in many geographic locations.

With the finalizing of Version 2 of the network many improvements have been made.

## Some include:

- Faster strfry (relay software) performance

- Better syncing of data across geographic regions

- Better syncing of configurations and site content

A big change is the move away from a singular cloud provider to a more heterogeneous model with 80% of relays not being on AWS or any cloud provider. With numerous backbone providers.

The biggest change is we're leveraging our network of servers to start offering other free services to nostr users. Including the addition of a customized version of Snort in each geographic region we have a relay. This is under the domain name of [nostr.af](https://nostr.af), the web client by default has relayable's relay network if not logged in. Allowing users to see our truly global feed. Once logged in you will have your usual list of relays you currently use.

Another is the addition of our SimpleX Chat servers:

```
We'll soon be adding our own CDN using our existing global network to help bolster nostr and help in the growth and decentralization of the network.
Thanks to everyone who has donated to Relayable. You make it possible to provide these free services and keep them free and accessible to everyone! [https://donate.relayable.org](https://donate.relayable.org) V4V⚑️
Does your strfry relay implement NIP 50, search? We really need more adoption of search.
Play has Google's in-device translations and integrates with Google for the Push notification system.
The FDroid version does not offer translations or notifications.
You would write a message and the message would not be able to be decrypted. Message would be lost.
I used android's base64.encode instead of base64.encodeToString function.
