Private Groups are starting to get into shape.

I actually love the open PRs. I look at them more than the approved NIPs these days.

Open PRs for me are just ideas. Some are good, some are bad, and most of them are just terribly written, especially if the author is not coding them.

Unless somebody codes those ideas, they will never go forward. And that's ok. They can be there waiting for the light of day.

1 week in the future is more difficult to broadcast. But, if we just do it to the past, it seems to work well.

I am starting to test the new Gift Wrapped DMs with a +/- 1 week of random variance in the `created_at` field and it seems to be working quite well (as expected).

Meaning, if an attacker has an interest in a particular event that happened on a given date/time, that attacker will not be able to build a target user list by scraping relay's records using the time of the event.

Oh, interesting. We might need to refine the expectations of that screen.

The chats you create, if they are not being used, the will move all the way down. The chats you follow always be on the DM page. The tab for all the other Chats is more of a "Discovery" tab that will include a bunch of other things that are happening at the moment. That's why it is together with communities and live streams. The order is by activity.

The filter up top then refines to the chats, live activities and communities created by your Follows, a list, or Global. If you Follow yourself, then your old chats should also appear (unless there are too many other chats in your follow list).

Sure, but again, supporting FOSS doesn't mean that they are securing freedom for **yourself**. I feel like people don't really understand what it takes to secure one's own freedom. They just delegate the responsibility to benefactors out there (like opensats and others) and call it a day. That will help, but will never guarantee your freedom.

Neither one is fighting for you. There is nothing to decide if there isnt an option.

Freedom isn't free. Even in Nostr, even in fully open-source systems, if you don't invest in securing the freedoms you care for yourself, your user, and your data, they won't be there when you need them. As a community, as a protocol, we can facilitate that investment. But in the end, it's up to you to seal it and sustain it.

Welcome! Let me know if you see any issues. We don't have a lot of Redmi users. :(

What's going away? The chat header in the list of chats or individual messages?

Then it might be a different issue. Everyone is saying that AnySoft works. Can you record a video?

Or put up your own relay instead of using somebody else's property.

Freedom is never free.. anywhere.

Hey nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z what's "boosted" mean? Just that it was a self repost?

And it doesn't look like it won't be solved any time soon. :(
