Yes, you can. That goes in the Broadcasting section.
I think I am the only dev that is happy to see the number of Google Play installs go down in their little chart.
Because I know people are uninstalling to re-install via nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhs79prlk
One day we won't need Google Play.
Is this a bug ?
It looks like the "Your answers" section is split into two tabs.

The You doesn't really work for your own profile. It shows the message that you sent to another account when you visit them.
Yeah, because anything that loads users, events, replies needs to go into the inbox/outbox of each to find it.
lol. Google Play now wants me to commit to a Child Safety Standards policy for Amethyst as if I had any control over the content people choose to see in the app.
I accept suggestions on how to say fuck you nicely.
Proxy Relay section in your relay settings. It will still connect with a bunch of relays, but most of the data will come from those relays.
Just make sure the aggregators are good and support all event kinds amethyst supports, otherwise you might miss some stuff.
Did it work? Is it better?
That's fine. We will teach them with nice UIs.
Those clients won't work. We either teach them how to be free by choosing their relays, or we are not doing anything different than Twitter.
Hiding relays is just a way to lock people into using a specific client.
It's a service from nostr.wine. You have to pay for it. If you are paying then you should add there. If you are not paying then this is not for you.
Yep, as long as it aggregated as if it was an outbox model, but on a relay, it should be fine.
They signed up for the service and are paying for it. They already know this.
It's hard to know which relays to select, since you never know what will be missing when you don't connect to all of the user's relays.
Users of filter.nostr.wine
Amethyst's Outbox has a relay section just for you. Your *filter* relay should go in the *Proxy Relay* section of your relay settings. It will disable the outbox model and only download feeds/posts from filter.nostr.wine 's aggregator.
If you want the broadcasting feature of filter, add the relay to the *Broadcast Relay* list and all your new events will be sent there to further broadcast your content.
You can remove filter from all the other lists since that relay doesn't really do anything else.
New version with media loading improvements and some bug fixes on the draft list and new post screens.
Do you have an aggregator relay, like filter.nostr.wine? If so, then just add it to the proxy relay list in your relay settings. That will disable the outbox model and only use those relays to download posts from.

I love all the improvements to amethyst, but could we pleeeease have a switch to disconnect to all these relays? On cell, it works fine, but once I switch over to wifi, amethyst crashes a lot. It's nearly unusable π€£π
Wait, it crashes on WIFI? I was expecting the exact opposite.
Here's a recording of primal and switching to amethyst, installed through obtainium from github

Wow.. I have absolutely no idea. Aren't you using any other app to force colorschemes? I have never seen this before.
Coolr's spec requires picking one relay to be the host of the chatroom.
Yep. It's all local. It downloads the model for each language and then runs it locally.
I hope Tor people appreciate how much we are abusing their infrastructure.
Should we make that the default? Which one is better?

I am just saying that your relay is not allowing anyone to connect to. You choose to self host. It's your problem when the way you set up doesn't work. Either fix the relay or delete it from the list.
This is not hard
No idea where this comes from. We don't have any implementation of a black and white scheme. :(
Where did you install it from?
Your clients don't support your private relay yet. Putting into your public lists just fucks all your followers up.
Language are the translation models.
If they don't have outbox settings, why is it even there? If we can't access the relay, it should not be in your outbox list. It makes no sense.
Found the issue. New version comming up.
It affected everyone that didn't follow any NIP-72 community.
Yeah, I am trying to figure out this big for some accounts. nostr:nprofile1qqsda2memtapc2lykjnd8t9px4ake2stw39lg6k49xj6u3jz3pteu6qpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgmwaehxw309amk7apwv3hhwmnfwdhkuargv46hqtnrvyhszythwden5te0dehhxarj9ekxzmny9u6elzz9
On it. Let me see what's going on ..
Can you name someone that shows up on primal but not on Amethyst? I can see if the app is looking for things in the right place or not.
Do you mind copying the link of a post you can see you primal but not on amethyst?
Primal has a central cache for their apps, so the post might be just there.
That's normal. Most relays on Nostr are offline.
