Be careful buying electronics on black Friday. They often mix in devices with shittier parts. https://lifehacker.com/what-to-do-before-buying-electronics-during-black-friday
I'm taking a train on Thanksgiving. Amtrak is notoriously unreliable on holidays.. wish me luck.
Kabukicho. Close to neat stuff like Korea Town and golden gai, and ofc easy access to the train.
Do people actually believe that being rich is gonna get them a girlfriend? lmao, maybe try working on your personality instead of your bottom line

This is my favorite political meme today.
We're still in an emergency? Aight, bud.
We dont need to recreate the leader/follower dynamic of Twitter to be successful. Reddit and even Facebook worked great as just a way to discuss topics or keep up with friends. Twitter is a weird-ass anomaly. Even the term "follower" has weird culty undertones to it.
That's because mentally healthy people move on. What's the reason for talking about the pandemic anymore unless you think it was fake and have an axe to grind?
I've been trying to decide whether I want to go the second-hand route. It's *probably* fine, since the whole point of a multi-bay NAS is redundancy, but it still feels wrong
At this point, I just Uncle Jim my friends. I have a fairly decent routing node set up and just have them connect to my lndhub instance with Zeus. Ezpz, they don't even need to worry about liquidity
My NAS is a little bit old, so no nvme for me. I just shoved an ancient SATA SSD in there a couple months back as a cache for all my spinning disks 😁.
Hoping the price of spinning NAS drives drop soon. I'm running out of space 😨
Nah, losing your money on a mismanaged node is a far higher risk than using a custodial wallet, depending on how sophisticated the user is.
It's been a while since I've set up my node, though. Maybe the newer software is a lot easier/safer.
IMO, it's irresponsible to convince non tech savvy people into running a lightning node. If you don't know how to manage and back up a Linux server, you're seriously playing with fire putting money on one.
Just use a damn mobile wallet or something.
I *have* to log into reddit now any time I land on their site. Completely defeats the purpose.
