There’s still a lot of confusion out in the world about #nostr being a protocol, not a platform.

Moderation is pushed to the users and individual service providers as opposed to outsourcing it to machines and burned-out employees sitting in nondescript office parks around the world.

We’ve seen time and time again how no amount of content moderation can possibly make everyone happy, and users get disillusioned and angry because platform developers and management can’t simply “do more.”

Can we ban people we don’t like from using TCP/IP? No, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use it ourselves, and build layers of technology on top of it to create the world we want to see.

Most people, designers included, don’t know the difference between UX/UI design and product design.

It’s common for UX designers to call themselves product designers thinking (oh yeah I design products!) This happens so often that product designers have turned it into a running joke.

Sadly, this also makes it difficult to know who actual product designers are and who is confused.

To outsiders we all just look like graphic designers 🤦‍♂️
