nostr:npub1gzlededxhz0xmgf5q9a5qswzuwjx0yfl2fx799csjhdnfrgawvksxwkk4u hmm, that's a great question. I don't know if it would deter them from nearby plants, but when we've grown peppers in the past they didn't seem to get bothered by animals.

nostr:npub1st42ny6g4w60dh6mktl2uxczwl2fschwtl0j7hlc4kduhd724cvsc7q7cw Yea, I am really curious of the scent would deter squirrels from the entire area, but that’s probably wishful thinking!

nostr:npub1gzlededxhz0xmgf5q9a5qswzuwjx0yfl2fx799csjhdnfrgawvksxwkk4u oh, and if you have problems with rabbits or squirrels I've had luck with covering plants with cayenne pepper but it has to be reapplied very regularly since it will blow away/wash off.

nostr:npub1st42ny6g4w60dh6mktl2uxczwl2fschwtl0j7hlc4kduhd724cvsc7q7cw Do you think growing a pepper or two would help in the same capacity? (Especially to deter squirrels).

nostr:npub1st42ny6g4w60dh6mktl2uxczwl2fschwtl0j7hlc4kduhd724cvsc7q7cw I hadn’t even considered that approach to watering. Super helpful tip, thank you!

nostr:npub1j7tz0e3swmxccy92vg2t9u0d9t0cunf9p02ch8gwrppwgr90xjysagpmaj I was NOT expecting so many helpful gardeners to come out of the woodwork with such great tips and encouragement. Thank you for these, I appreciate it!

I am rediscovering #comics at 48 years old (was only briefly into stuff like Walking Dead and Stray Bullets years ago), and found out there is a #Transformers X Back to the Future crossover AND a Transformers X Star Trek crossover series!

It's as if some evil product marketing genius at Hasbro was like "how do we easily part these Gen Xers with their cash again?"

Looks like I'm going down this rabbit hole.

When I was producing nostr:npub1m9phw8lsk0cj0sgzxq49lp45l9j385xx04ue6eu9z92rds87t0ps5r4fja, I always wanted to record a "Linux For Everyone: After Dark" edition.

The idea was to have an unscripted, unfiltered community-powered show with no boundaries on topics. (So, discussions that veered away from Linux and FOSS and focused more on the geeky, personal sides).

More fun, more playful, less edited, and maybe a little less "family-friendly."

Well, keep an eye on the nostr:npub1gzcxhmdfe2ne3vukxgqydkqlh44g8tdwd99eaa4q9mcr70r62djqp8fsz3 space πŸ˜‰

I know nostr:npub1qkvfx73xz4z7xcppyc7jvz2nrsqvde52lhq370vjyvrp6kewsvmqvjdsph is in.

Who else?

nostr:npub12jq5ktly2vht4w467kall6e0wuruu3dfy2mm473gqyslynxau3fsakhq6m That's impressive! Hey, I also like that you can image the servers with Fedora!

Posting video on my Mastodon instance seems a bit impossible.

I might need to explore setting up a #PeerTube instance for my music-related stuff.

This is my first set of dice, but my future party says it won't be the last.

I went with the coffee theme because I'm a coffee snob, and because my Half-Elf Ranger will absolutely halt everything to get his morning fix...

nostr:npub1gzlededxhz0xmgf5q9a5qswzuwjx0yfl2fx799csjhdnfrgawvksxwkk4u Fair enough. It's possible that the game I really want is Elite Dangerous, which I bought several years ago and haven't dared to play yet... It sounds like the sort of thing I would get sucked right into. >_>

nostr:npub1z9myc59yadhemq6s3mpsugrdzzfqr55c582tedltugukfwhgtn5snhp50f Elite: Dangerous hooked me so hard that I spent hours just making a "space trucking" playlist for it. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6lD1HBlKrAFhwgI0xhfpPP?si=b83a2437a3444aa0

There's a curious lack of guidance in #Starfield. I appreciate that some folks prefer minimal UI & no hand-holding, but there are some surprisingly glaring omissions.

Example: Your ship has 6 power systems (with 3-letter abbreviations in the UI), and the 1st time you get in the cockpit you're instructed to toggle between them & add/subtract power. But you're not told WHAT those systems do.

Also, how on earth do you toggle weapons on the fly? This just doesn't feel polished.

Friendly reminder from your local #coffee snob.
