Talking shit

What’s all this gibberish below most images I am seeing lately

Someone push some new nip I know nothing about? #nostr #asknostr

I’m still wondering if value for value scales.

Content services have found steady business models selling advertising for decades now, obviously if you’re here you understand selling ads makes you answerable to your advertisers aka don’t say this or we’ll pull our ads etc

Then subscriptions became a thing and we all know how anything that gets although it does solve the advertising problem

I am interested to see how value for value plays out - my opinion now is it seems more cut throat and creators may not feel comfortable without a steady stream of income they are used to

So how much was zapped last night on that live show

I saw millions of sats

I went to a bar called cowboy and there was a bull riding competition inside of it, next to the dance floor

The tunestr stream was really cool

#gab is currently winning the “AI” race

Silicon Valley libtards have no chance #nostr

It’s just a code fork - you could change anything you want so it could be completely compatible or it could change many things making it incompatible

Same way I could take Damus code and change it - I could just change the ui and still interact with anyone or I could replace Nostr with rest that only connects to my own server

For example momentjs was a datetime JavaScript library

Eventually the devs stopped supporting or moved on

Other projects replace it like dayjs or something else

Or other devs may fork momentjs but you’d need to name it something else so it can be installed easily

So essential that library is “ossified” however - anyone can fork it and change it — imo that’s a new library though

Of course, go look at all the foss projects on GitHub that haven’t been touched in years

This is an invoice for 1000 sats to be paid in L-BTC, are you able to pay it? 🤔

Not at the moment

I don’t like the virtual cards you get - they are hard to get to work.

I bought a virtual card from somewhere else one time and it worked so good and ui/ux was way better

Bitcoincompany should switch to that instead of the visa ui it takes you to

It is my opinion that cities are dirty shitholes, regardless of how cool pictures of them look

Does #nostr win when users have no idea they are using it - my guess likely
