Way past my bed time too 😝
but only way I can squeeze it into my schedule. See you there 🫂
So is a piano a string instrument, a percussion, all of the above or its own category?
GM and Happy Halloween! Wondering how many Nostriches I will see tomorrow? Today I will catch the shinkansen after work and will be arriving around 11pm.
#nostrasia
Me too! Good luck on the change you want to see in the world.
Wasn't cool going through the stress to get them 😆 See you soon!
Nostr is run by relays, a relay can ban you but there are thousands to choose from. Even better is that there are no algorithms that feed on hate and disagreement so stupid left vs right culture arguments don't gain much traction on this platform. It's an end to the moronic strawman "social justice warriors". 👍
This isn't sad, it's taken out of context. The sad part is much bigger and affecting individuals on both sides. Diplomacy, holding individuals responsible for their actions and forgiveness is the only solution.
If you're last minute YOLO’ing into Nostrasia in Tokyo and need a place to stay, let me know. nostr:npub17plqkxhsv66g8quxxc9p5t9mxazzn20m426exqnl8lxnh5a4cdns7jezx0 and I have an extra room in our Airbnb.
Thank you for the offer Jeff but I got a capsule hotel through Booking.com. I am not sure if that website is still functional or has been completely taken over by scammers. Will call today to make sure the capsule hotel knows I am coming.
I will be the old gaijin with white streaks in my hair. See you there tanel!
Yes, but only for the first two days. I am always too busy. 😝
To get this stamp go to the office at the shrine/temple. But a stamp book ¥1500 and then buy the stamp ¥300. Keep a collection as you travel and enjoy!
Almost all shrines and temple have a stamp which can be collected in a stamp book. From what I understand, in old Japan people would need proof and permission to travel so the monks would have to get the shrine/temple stamps as proof of where they had traveled. Now-a-days it offers a unique kanji and symbol of each shrine/temple. I often use them as stamps in the picture I am taking in that area, for pilgrimages or of the shrine/temple.
Damn graffiti, I hope they catch the young punks who tagged that wall. 😝 This is why I like Japan!
I just had a photo session with Kotoōshū's sumo stable, it was an amazing experience. #nostrasia

These small family owned businesses are all over Japan. I always think that this is Benjamin Franklin's idea of what America should have become. Large working middle class.
I also recommend the fried chicken. 7-eleven is my favorite, Nana-chiki!
I will get a goshuin 御朱印 at Meiji shrine.
