I was at a men's group last night, and heard that someone in the extended network had committed suicide.

I told the men, that tomorrow isn't promised and to leave nothing on the table. If you want to do something get to it. Make sure to tell people that you care about them.

Mortality is a good reminder to live.

Got my 1/2 hour workout in. My eldest daughter joined me again. Kettlebell 40lb for me primarily, 30lb for a few. Entering my second month of three times week with this lifting routine. Definitely noticing a difference in my body. From my lower back not hurting, to my arms growing, and a general firmness all around.

After getting through several musical experiences with a piece of cork almost falling off my clarinet, it finally happened. And today I finished the repair!

Cork is so soft that I was worried about sanding it down too far, but alas I succeeded. The bell fits nice and snug.

The next part of repair that I need to work on, and get the pieces for, springs!
