Pleasure and pain are equal
in a clear heart.
No mountain hides the moon.
When the five senses and the mind are stilled, when the reasoning intellect rests in silence, then begins the highest path.
#TheKathaUpanishad
The deepest feeling of a compassion that does not seek to alter anything, paradoxically, alters everything.
#Adyashanti
it is love that gives you depth, meaning, significance.
it is love that destroys all boredom and keeps you ever-fresh, alive and surprised too, because love brings so many gifts , and unasked for. Love be your prayer. #Osho
"bove is the only reality and it is not a mere sentiment.
It is the ultimate truth that lies at the heart of creation."
#RabindranathTagore
Ordinary love is selfish, darkly rooted in desires and satisfactions.
Divine love is
without condition, without boundary, without change.
#SwamiSriYukteswar
"Imagine what freedom you feel when you are free from the influences of this world, or your past, or your family, or neighbors, or your habits! You realize you are pure Spirit. You belong to no group, no nationality, no family, no habits. Karma belongs to the den of thieves where karmic people live.
Always think, 'I and my Father are one. I have no karma; I am free."
#ParamahansaYogananda
So long as you have not found God, it is best not to be interested in amusements.
Seeking diversion means forgetting Him.
First learn to love Him and know Him. Then it wont matter what you do, for He will never leave your thoughts.
#ParamahansaYogananda
"Day by day as you learn to meditate, a new awakening will come; a new, living relationship with God will stir within you. The mist of silence and mystery that hangs over everything will slowly vanish before the dawning light of your devoted search for God."
#ParamahansaYogananda
"All you need is already within you, only you must approach your self with reverence and love.
Find your
Real Self and all else will go with it."
#SriNisargadattaMaharaj
You can only know your self by being yourself without any attempt at self-definition and self-description.
Once you have understood that you are nothing perceivable or conceivable, that whatever appears in the field of consciousness cannot be your self, you will apply yourself to the eradication of all self-identification, as the only way that can take you to a deeper realisation of your self.

FIVE HYMNS OF ARUNACHALA & OTHER POEMS OF #SRIRAMANAMAHARSHI
(English &Tamil)——— English Translation and Commentary by Pro K.Swaminathan and Tamil Translation to the commentary by
Smt. Mahalakshmi Suryanandan.
MARITAL GARLAND OF LETTERS:
(105). May you live for ever, as the loving
saviour of poor, helpless people
me, O Arunachala!
As the sun shines on the meanest of things, the grace of Arunachala brings joy and salvation to all. Bhagavan is equal to the highest to God and also equal to the meanest mortal.
******************
(106). Your ears once heard the sweet songs
of those whose every bones melted in
love of you. Let them now accept
even these poor words of mine,
O Arunachala.
Hear again, Bhagavan in all humility contrasts என்புருகு இன்சொல் with புன்மொழி. The songs of Samabandhar, Appar and Manikkavachager or full of love and sweetness.
My words are plain and simple. May your ears,
O Arunachala, hear even these my poor words!
*******************
(107). Mountain made up of patience,
bear with my words, accept them,
If you please. Do as you will,
O Arunachala.
If you won’t accept them, I shall accept your refusal. Whatever you do, I shall not complain. Total surrender.
பூதர- Mountain, as something borne by the Earth. Here it also mean: Patience, Kshama, awareness sustaining the world.
Arunachala is no ordinary mountain. It is the embodiment of awareness comprehending and transcending the universe.
*******************
(108). Arunachala, my loving Lord, place your
Garland on my shoulders and where this
my Garland on your own.
மாலை அளித்து may mean மால்+ஐ (accusative) give me unchanging love, desire, for you, make me your staunch devotee, and wear this Garland of mine.
At the last moment, after asserting repeatedly is equality with the meanest mortals, Bhagavan hesitates to demand Garland for Garland. He only begs for the gift of Bhakti

You are both merit and defect, my life. Apart from you there is for me no life. Do whatever you will, my beloved; but only grant me, grant me ever increasing love for your twin feet.

Arunachala Siva Arunachala Siva
Arunachala Siva Arunachala!
Arunachala Siva Arunachala Siva
Arunachala Siva Arunachala!

Ramanarpanam…
I am in the Heart of all beings
You think Sri Krishna is a human being or one with a human form, the son of so and so, whereas he himself has said, I am in the Heart of all beings, I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all forms of life.'
He must be within you, as he is within all.
He is your Self or the Self of your Self.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
"Those who are pure in heart, who practice meditation, and conquer their senses, shall attain the knowledge that the Lord of Love is the innermost Self of all."
#Upanishads
"Our egoistic ideas are delusion, covering our Buddha nature.
When we have no idea of ego, we have Buddha's view of life."
#ShunryuSuzuki
Desire is karma in its most subtle form; emotion is karma in its most uncontrolled form.
