i went to sign up for coincorner cos they gave us a free card at bitcoin atlantis

when it came to asking me for a photo of my passport i decided it wasn't worth continuing

the pushback of this is gonna be big

i don't need KYC for my alby, hell, the requirements for setting up an amazon account were lower, i think that people are just gonna get tired of over and over again repeating the same fucking signup flow that takes forever and feels like an interrogation by nazis

That's fine for some people, but most people don't have a real world WOT to trade bitcoin because there aren't that many bitcoiners, specially if you are a normie, you want something simple, just an app that allows you to sell as fast as possible without much interaction, I won't be able to tell a normie or a business owner to go to an app an meet in person with someone and receive cash in handled. They just want to be able to swap bitcoin that they might earn to fiat in a simple way, the simplest way could be an exchange but they can get blocked.

No I don't have to accept that. Nobody has to. You don't have to either. If you post pictures of people without their consent, it doesn't matter if it's a public or a private event, or if it's legal in your jurisdiction or not. It all doesn't matter.

If you don't care about it, it simply means that you don't care about the privacy of others. It means you don't care about the other's right to decide whether Apple, Google, Meta, or X should be fed with their faces. It means that you're feeding surveillance systems with locations, biometric data, and the identities of Bitcoiners around you.

Nobody cares about what's legal. This is a moral question. A question of your own principles in a world of all-encompassing digital surveillance.

I use bisq and it works great for me, the thing is if someone wanted to build an app that allowed normies to mainly sell btc for fiat the easiest way to integrate and to make the offer public would be through Nostr. Right now p2p is segregated through various p2p apps. If it was published on Nostr any app could take those offers.

It is not me who needs to be precise gentlemen, it is in your own interest to be so.

Being able to decryp the payments details, among other data defined in your T&C, make possible to have user data exposure to you.

Same as Hodl Howl, you can't promote you are NoKyC IMO.

But I really appreciate your efforts to bring here more transparency regarding your business proposal.
