After five months on Nostr, I'm thrilled to share that one of the earliest collectors and supporters of my work has pre-ordered a hand-knotted rug using Bitcoin. This is a historic moment for me, as it’s the first rug I’ve sold through a Bitcoin transaction. nostr:npub1paftqx5zvj0gjtu3whudejxdgv4vdn27paw4lzaauc43kgfxxaqs75c5a7 is truly wonderful, and I’m so grateful she's the first Bitcoiner to show her support. I believe amazing things are yet to come!
I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, but I never imagined my first order would be sold in Bitcoin within the Nostr community. Let’s keep believing in ourselves and spreading positive vibes around the world!
love y'all 💕

Cool what sorts of prices are you charging for your rugs. Do you have a list?
Why is that? Because other than buying fiat Bitcoin has nothing to offer?
Looking forward to replace nostr:nprofile1qqsw4v882mfjhq9u63j08kzyhqzqxqc8tgf740p4nxnk9jdv02u37ncpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9uju6mpd4czuumfw3jsz9nhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsq3yamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wpskwtn9wvql3tqm's notes with something of substance.
Yesterday's story on the widespread tracking enabled through mobile ads and apps cited figures about the market shares of iPhone and Android: ~72 percent Android worldwide. But the situation is quite different in the US, where iPhones claim ~57 percent of the market.

This tracks incredibly closely to a poll I did here last year, which asked people in security dayjobs to share their main phone type. 54 percent said iPhone. 4,823 participants.

It's really nice when these polls end up being useful and relevant in reporting.

I hear a country's IQ is proportional to their share of Android devices.
What's the name of the shop? How much did you pay? Have prices been stable? How does the business pay its suppliers?
Fun fact: ecash "mints" are fractional reserve banks.
And every Wednesday at 9am a flock of winged monkeys comes flying out of your ass.
Fiatcoin would be more appropriate wouldn't it.
The "stable" that we want (well that I want) is stable prices for things like ... bread.
So there should be e.g. a coin that aims to be stable w.r.t, say, bread, and just to make it clear to everyone we'll call it breadcoin.
Also presumably Casa is an incorporated business. It's been created by the government right there.
Casa seems to provide "self custody as a service". Lol.
Saylor stacks all those days, that gives your stash its fiat value. You owe him.
People are better off buying a HWW off a random npub on nostr that isn't backdoored at all.
