Isn't this like a Twitter client for Nostr, where you discuss stuff with community?
I don't care about chats in these Nostr clients to be honest. I have WhatsApp and Signal if I want to chat.
If people try to chat with me on this client I would most likely block them as 99% of the times strangers trying to chat are scammers ( Most well known example: "Hello, how's your trade going.")
If I was a developer I would fully focus on well working community posts, layout and functionality (like Gifs for community posts!:) IMHO that community posts should also be the starting page.
That being said I like this little client and I'll keep it on the phone and see how the development goes.
No I cannot. In that place I have the Gallery icon. See screenshot below.
There is no emoji left of the input box. Also when I select a picture there are even more Japanese? characters.

Thanks, apparently that is an iOS only option. There is no Giphy from the client itself.
When I try my builtin keyboard giphy I get a message from the client that the content is blocked.
Btw I don't have bias against Asians in particular (I am equally biased against all races:), it's more a healthy distrust of messages I cannot read😆
Just tried 0xchat out and there is no Giphy integration (Android client). Also when I deny access to the Gallery in the top of the app I see Asian characters (either Chinese or Korean, which makes me suspicious 🤔)
Thanks, do you guys have the exact name of the app? I tried both Amber and Amber signer but I get a lot of not relevant apps in Play Store.

Fountain 1.1 with #nostr is now live on iOS and Android!
Why Nostr?
We regularly hear from both listeners and podcasters that the social features in Fountain are a great way to discover content that's worth listening to.
When you support a podcast, or comment on an episode, your message is surfaced to your followers in the Fountain home feed and anyone that sees these can add the content to their library.
But this came with a few problems. When you first start using Fountain you wouldn't have any followers so your posts wouldn't get seen. If you wanted to share something you were listening to, you had to choose between leaving a comment on Fountain, or sharing on another social platform.
Today we are excited to announce a massive update to Fountain that solves these problems with Nostr:
- You can bring your existing profile and followers to Fountain
- Your boosts and comments will be surfaced in other Nostr clients
- Posts shared from other Nostr clients relating to audio will appear in your feed

I had to check a few times for the update on Play Store but it appeared eventually. I do think there should be a better way to log in than to paste ones Nostr private key...
And here I found an easy guide how to connect it. I will try it this week as I already have an Alby account somewhere.

I have the feeling it will play out like this.
Normie has heard something about it and has bought Bitcoin to sell after the 'having' because it should moon directly afterwards.
Traders have heard about it and will take huge positions shorting or going long, also with intention directly selling after the event.
I expect a big dump directly after halfining. Then a week or two slow bleed, nothing major, as the no-knows and normies sell out, "because it's apparently going to zero...again".
GBTC bleeds out in the coming months, so much that Mr. Sunshine is now forced to lower the total expense ratio of ETF to stop the bleeding.
Then the halfining fully kicks in.
US ETFs buying accelerates, Hong Kong ETFs start buying, Japanese companies start buying to hedge against depreciating currency. US financial advisors are up-to-speed and start preaching BTC 'digital gold' parroting daddy Fink. FOMO kicks in heavily. Bitcoin price rockets, no drawdowns. Even more FOMO, propels rocket to eye bleeding (price) highs.
Only thing that will stop the rocket will be some kind of mega bearish event. Some "black swan".
Something really boring, like Commercial Real Estate bank bubble finally pops cascading bank bankruptcies or the banks fail due to dried up funding mechanisms and no more daddy government backing-up.
Both events would cause a major bank bankruptcies, the magnitude the world has not seen before.
OR
Some 'black swan' possibilities: Conbase ETF holdings are hacked and huge amounts of BTC stolen, Ukraine / Russia melts a nuclear facility, "aliens" appear, NATO goes VS Russia, China goes VS Taiwan...etc
What do you guys think about this scenario? Feasible or nah?
