When i have an idea that I know is just too big or that I'll never get to, I always just share it out to the world. My hope is that somebody will be excited enough to get it done and I'll have done my part in helping to start the spark. Then i just focus on those things that I can and need to take to their finish line and i can let go of the 100 other ideas that I come up with along the way.

Yeah I've noticed that, it pulls some of the motivation out of it, or at least has in the past. I'm happy to report that as time passes this is less of an issue.
