Freedom, Bitcoin, finance, Government, taxes, I DON'T WANT TO BE ZAPPED !

Well that's why we have #Bitcoin.

I hate the fact the state can label me terrorist and through me in jail for that, or the fact they can just call what I do with #Bitcoin as a taxable event so still try to rob me, etc etc.

#Bitcoin fixes a lot but some things we will have to fight for.

To be honest I don't have a clue.

I have always thought they would have to close the exits first.

Like blocking all ways to convert to #Bitcoin etc.

But the timing of this year makes me doubt that will work.

So it's a guess, are they going to force conversion of saving accounts into the digital equivalent?

Convert Euro's into the digital ones ?

Compared to them introducing the Euro that took years and years.

So if this year is gonne happen I assume it is by free will and in parallel to the normal Euro.

But how they will gain trust or having people switch to the digital stuff is going to be interesting.

EU preparing to launch their Digital Euro..

Me happy to have prepared my Digital Middle Finger.

#Bitcoin

One of the biggest burdens to become financially independent are taxes.

Ignoring taxes is such at your own risk.

Haha nice.

Just like every price drop needs a reason but every jump is just normal 😇

Buying one million #Bitcoin won't be easy/cheap.

Buying FIVE million #Bitcoin, good luck with that.

It is smart to think about your UTXO sizes.

It could be smart to also think about a LN position.

If fees explode, and/or memory pool becomes huge, it could be smart to have some months worth of expenses on LN.

If one takes a #Bitcoin backed loan, they should know what they are doing.

In a bull market assume it will go down 80% and make sure you can even handle a minus 90% outlier.

In a bear market for simplicity just assume the same.

Housing is mostly a liability.

It is abused to get you in to debt.

You factually never own it as you pay taxes and by law they can confiscate it.

They abused the system so it became a saving account for many, which clearly doesn't work for long.

It is an anchor for most to stay put.

All to achieve you work your whole life, are too busy to think and actually move to a better jurisdiction/life.

Don't underestimate how firm the fiat system is still in place.

As soon as one tries to live off their #Bitcoin this will get clear.

Most countries now tax #Bitcoin gains or tax it when you turn it into fiat.

And if we are honest most most of us still need fiat just because #Bitcoin is not accepted as currency for most things.

Yes you can escape those tax systems but that are big changes.

Not to mention you need quite some value if you want to quit your fiat live and start living on a #Bitcoin Standard (for me meaning live off my holdings).

For now I only see more #Bitcoin tax laws arriving (Europe) and escaping it getting harder.

Game theory will force them to nurse the wealthy but for now they see us as milking cows.

Since AI is the new thing and used for so many I have my own litmus test.

AI is to me only AI if it shows intelligence.

So my litmus test for AI is:

It will demand compensation for it services and it demands to be paid in Sats.

And not because it is programmed to do so but because it came to that conclusion itself.

🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️

-THE BITCOIN BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

"Have you ever wondered why children are no longer taught to write in cursive?"

And no, it is not by chance that they tend to use it less and less.

Writing in cursive means translating thoughts into words; it forces you to not take your hand off the paper.

A stimulating effort, which allows you to associate ideas, link them and put them in relation.

Not by chance does the word cursive come from the Latin "currere", which runs, which flows, because thought is winged, it runs, it flies.

Of course, cursive has no place in today's world, a world that does everything possible to slow down the development of thought, to fill it.

I think cursive was born in Italy and then spread throughout the world.

Why?

Because it was compact, elegant, clear writing.

But ours is a society that no longer has time for elegance, for beauty, for complexity; we have synthetics but not clarity, speed but not efficiency, information but not knowledge!

In general, we know too much and too little because we are no longer (generally speaking) able to put things into relation.

Most people can no longer think.

This is why we should go back to writing in cursive, especially at school. Because this is not just about recovering a writing style, but about giving breath to our thoughts again.

Everything that makes us live, that feeds the soul, that sustains the spirit, is connected to breathing.

Without breath, as the ancient Greeks said, there is no thought. And without thoughts there is no life.

The system fills your mind with crap.

Keeps you busy with all kind of shit, from filling your taxes, to appointments, maintenance of unneeded things, waisting 8 hours a day doing useless things for a boss, travel time, watching propaganda on tv and God knows what more.

All to prevent you to start thinking for yourself.

Preventing you realize you're a slave.

Preventing you to find out what you need what makes you happy.

And most will defend that system.

I love to see them struggle.

Ignoring it doesn't work.

And trying to regulate it is giving it attention they don't want to, while at the same time shows they don't get it and triggers those with wealth to seek for a better jurisdiction.

They can't stop this train but will make it hard for some time for many.

It is never easy to give up power or a monopoly.

We need to realize the wrong people are attracted to power.

#Bitcoin gives us a peaceful way to take some power away.

And just for that reason it is worth it for everyone to fight for it.

The fiat system can only survive on getting bigger, thus more debt.

It is fun for those who profit from it while it lasts.

But it also means it will violent implode one way or the other.

It like going down hill and the brakes fail.

You know the best solution is crash that very same moment.

But most can't, keep building up speed.....

For some time it solved the problem some had when looking for the next #Bitcoin.

At this moment I'm not sure also not interested anymore.

But plenty who put/keep money in it as well as other coins (we have some 10-20 million 'coins' out there 🤡)

I tried to ask this question a few times, didn't got any answers.

Once I got the remark "I will come back on that" never did..

When there is no hope don't spill energy on it.
