Merry Christmas!

4 months ago I wanted to build an app with little to no knowledge of app building. Since then I’ve learned how to use Cursor, Xcode, how to fix bugs for weeks on end, UX and UI, color theory, GitHub, getting code ready for TestFlight, and mostly how much fun staying up all night building something actually is. In a week or so my first app to help people pray more will be available in for beta testers (and God willing the App Store after that!) πŸ™βœ¨

C.S. Lewis, The Case for Christianity

God created things which had free will. That means creatures which can go wrong or right. Some people think they can imagine a creature which was free but had no possibility of going wrong, but I can't. If a thing is free to be good it's also free to be bad. And free will is what has made evil possible. Why, then, did God give them free will? Because free will, though it makes evil possible, is also the only thing that makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having.

People often compare present-day America to Babylon, but if you read through Corinthians, it’s hard not to see a closer parallel to the morally corrupt society in Corinth

I heartily accept the motto, β€œThat government is best which governs least” and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically. Carried out, it finally amounts to this, which also I believe

that government is best which governs not at all; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have.
