with any power comes abuse of it. is it possible for that cycle to stop as we look forward?

I think giving power back to individuals will help a lot. Not power over each other but sovereignty.
I think things could change if power is achieved without kinetic violence. It’s fair to say that Bitcoin introduces this.

We are passing through a bottleneck in evolutionary history, I recon.
We will either make this quantum leap together, as one aligned and coherent species, or fade into oblivion as all other past BiPed Hominid species that came before us did.

😂😂😂 it certainly gets us light years closer. to me, even with systems or philosophies designed to reduce abuse of power, it’s hard to imagine completely eradicating it because it’s rooted in deeply human tendencies: ego, fear, control, survival
although bitcoin does mitigate the threat/need for all of those tendencies
