I like alpine and arch on older devices. Add a tiling wm and they're good to run for a very long time. Even longer with no GUI 😂

Global is usable, performance is better and data usage has improved. I might consider giving it another try on mobile data, which I have turned off as I burned through my data plan in no time.
Overall it is nice and I'm quite curious about how their cosmic desktop progresses. My main requirement is not to break as it's powering the notebooks of my kids. That's why I'm considering Silverblue for them as well.
Fighting this every single day. I retired a MacBook Air 2010 just a week ago bc of hardware issues. All younger devices still active.
