Didn't know about listr.lol. Will check it out, but I was mostly interested in how to deal with them. Recognising is not the issue. Is there any value in bullying back, exposing them in public or simply block and ignore (current approach)
Impersonators changing names on the fly. Watch out! Whats the best approach to handle them?
Oh no, impersonators sending DMs. Be careful out there.
yay, weekend approaching at light speed
Here we go again, all relays disappeared. #Damus
Rarely works. If the thread is not showing, and I really want to read it, I switch to a different app. Yes, that is really my workaround.
Me neither, just put the nice parts on modern tec: make some connecting sounds while joining wifi, blink lights and give some sound that the SSDs are working š
Should we pretend to be surprised?
I miss it, as well as the sound and lights of hard disks.
Today I noticed how much my podcast listening has changed. It went from apple, agile, enterprise and productivity topics to bitcoin, nostr, osint and privacy. Interesting how things change.
Back in the days, Overcast was my app of choice for listening. Probably dwelling in memories, I tried to use it for my run today, and it went differently than expected. I simply don't understand the app anymore. It's cluttered with lists, recents, archive. Everything is big and using to much space for my taste. The functions I want are hidden, and difficult to find. The screen jumps around when adding or deleting podcasts. Not the experience I was remembering, but it might be me getting old. Nevertheless, It was frustrating. At the end, I accidentally deleted the npub1tr0va8lk35pp4lnk64ymneywdjmmq6juznxlg5ejerkhxgwk7ggsw5qqpx episode with npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft and npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc I wanted to listen and had to enjoy npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8 npub1qdcakl75gd7wv0nqmmwrz09ddm5tzl7xj8lq2gclng2qzd8up5yqjpzclt instead.
Whatever I was trying, it did not work out. I'll leave my Damus machine at home where it belongs, and continue to use Antennapod.
Back on 20+ relays. Hope #damus doesnāt screw them up again. I know itās overkill.
Gm āļø #coffechain
Why are you asking? Isnāt that normal?
you must be joking
actually. it's called damus machine
I just fixed my doom emacs installation that was broken, which I didn't notice for months because of spending my time in neovim. I guess we have a winner.
