The Premier1 heated waterers are my absolute favorite for the winter. If it's anywhere I can run an extension cord, you can bet I've got one going! Saves me having to constantly change out water in these freezing temps and they shut off automatically when the temp rises.

Cold weather treats for the quail! Black soldier fly larvae, which are high fat, and coarse grind corn. Corn is high carb so it heats the birds up as they metabolize it. Works for chickens too!
