Yes, other then riveting it together at 85 degrees, works really good. Once the fire gets going hardly any smoke.
Have you put any biochar through your aquaponics system? I currently have a batch in a pillow case in mine. Probably leave it in there for a few days to charge.

#grownostr #biochar put up a video to show the biochar process- https://youtu.be/yzvzaPIsm-I
#grownostr #biochar Day 3 of biochar, I havea pillow case full in my aquaponics system. How long should I leave it in to charge it?

This was mostly smaller size tree trimmings. I’m in the suburbs so just my trees I’ve pruned. Oak, ornamental pear
It’s a cone kiln, basically 1.5’ high, steel walls. The oxygen burns at the top level, everything below will turn to biochar.

I’m always testing new methods to propagate plants. Doing two batches of elderberry cuttings. 1 in compost, 1 in sand/perlite. Both sitting in trays of water.

K, sent you a dm.
What plants did you root?

Hi all, selling more Azola. I’m growing this batch in a 4” tote. I’ll take scoops out daily to fertilizer plants.
I can ship to the US (cant be freezing). $5 + shipping ~$5.
I’ll send an invoice to be paid via lightning payment. Message if interested. Thanks!
#grownostr #plantpropagation #elderberry I’m testing solo cups filled with sand/perlite and elderberry cuttings. These cups have 1 / 2 holes in the base. They are sitting in an aquaponics system that will flood the beds every ~7 minutes.
I wonder if this will work better… I’ve propagated thornless blackberry in perlite the same way. No rooting hormone used.

I’m going to try propagating plants in solo cups next, low cost and hopefully it works :)
You don’t want to “weather” it?
