#gardening #aquaponics #propagation #permies #grownostr 18 new plants potted up in solo cups with holes in the bottom.
They will be in the shade, watered well. These rooted in clay pebbles, biochar, sand.
About the same propagation rates between all 3.

Lookup trench biochar, dig a trench, load wood, burn, put out with water. You will have more biochar with that pile of wood then you know what to do with it :)
We only had to wait about 15 minutes to eat inside, outside had a long wait.
Heading back from Fort Worth today. Went to the stockyards, Joe Ts, crazy busy! Always great to get home after traveling :).
How long does garlic take to grow?
Check out Canva, just created a free logo for someone in a few minutes. They have simple templates or you can pay for better designs.
Nice! Any plans with the biochar? I just started this year, crushing it up in a 5 gallon bucket and flat shovel. Planting it with new shrubs, putting in garden beds, aquaponics, worm bins.
I'm looking for suggestions on a biochar retort. I'm chatting with a guy about fabricating one from sheet metal.
Any idea on what to do? A square Kontiki style would probably be the most cost effective. It seems that a cone shape may be more efficient?
Any and all ideas will be considered...except for nostr:npub1w6959jfmvcx70uyyu2hlkwlecllfl9qy74gqpasrmeswhm5fm30q9ufw2l.

I have the best biochar cone kiln. I can probably do the same thing with a cheap tractor supply fire ring. Just use some soil to build up the edges.
What was the cost to make? Where do you get the metal from?

I like it, seed your beds with your crops, come back ~2 weeks and seed cover crop. These have rye grass which dies in the summer for me.
I have lettuce, kale, swiss chard, brussel sprouts, carrots growing.
My beds have terrible soil, hoping this helps. Also put in a ton of biochar (why not!).

Yes, super easy with some plants.
Mulberry, elderberry are some of the easiest. I’ve done a few methods- a mister setup is the best. It mists the plants every 10 minutes, bed is just sand and perlite.
Let me invite if you have any questions
Yes, as long as they won’t go below freezing I’ll leave them out. Our temperatures are about 50-75 over in Houston.
#grownostr #gardening #mulberry these mulberry cuttings are growing in damp soil with plastic covering. Once the leaves come out, remove plastic. I left a little too long and some have fungus. Going to try this with blackberry next.

Looks to be from 1959. Smooth cylinder, seems well built.
#grownostr #coffeechain Up in the PNW, received a WW2 flare gun, and a Ruger .22 revolver. Good to be the only one in the family who likes guns!
